Terms and Conditions

1. Periods of attendance are inclusive of travelling. An additional charge may be made when a longer attendance is necessary. We reserve the right to curtail our service in the event of unreasonable variation from the contracted details.

2. Preview albums are available four weeks after the event. Reprints and finished albums are normally completed four weeks from receipt of instructions.

3. Video-Craft reserves to right to terminate coverage and leave the location of the event (s) if the Cameraman and photographer from Video-Craft experience inappropriate, threatening, hostile, or offensive behaviour from person (s) add the event (s); or in the event that the safety of the photographer/videographer from Video-Craft is in question.

4. A deposit of £100 is payable when booking, the balance being due two weeks before the event. We welcome payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

5. With packages (Video & photography), a deposit of 1/3 is due at the signing of this contract, with 1/3 to be paid 2 weeks prior to the event and the remainder to be paid upon completion or as agreed by both parties.

6. Our work is protected by the Copyright, Design and Patent Act, 1988. Copying or reproduction by any means, in whole or in part is illegal. It is also an offence to allow such copying to be carried out by a third party. Our rights under section 77 and 80 are hereby asserted.

7. Any video film taken by us may be submitted for exhibition, or otherwise used for promotional purpose. Any photographs taken by us may be submitted for exhibition, displayed in a portfolio of work or otherwise used for promotional purpose. We will not use photographs for any other purpose without the written consent of the client. If you the client disagree with this term, you need to inform Video-Craft LTD in writing.

8. We reserve the right of artistic licence. Our judgement in respect of locations, poses, photographs chicken and video films made will be deemed correct.

9. Whilst we try to allocate a specific photographer / videographer to attend your event at the time of the booking, we cannot guarantee that we will not have to change this due to circumstance beyond our control.

10. It is understood that no other photographer/videographer, amateur or professional, shall be allowed to photograph /video film at the event while the photographer / videographer is working and that any breach of this agreement will constitute a reason for non-completion of the job with no liability to VIDEO-CRAFT and loss of initial deposit by signing party.

11. Contracts are subject to alteration or cancellation by us at any time due to factors beyond our control, In such circumstances Clients will be notified of this amendment

12. The contract may be cancelled at any time by the client, the deposit being forfeit. In the event of cancellation less than two months before the date of the event, a sum equal to 50% of the total cost of the service booked will be payable, This being an agreed estimate of our loss.

13. In the event of photographic failure or video filming failure our liability is limited to the refund of all deposit and monies paid, You are advised to take our appropriate insurance with a third party insurance company for further protection.

14. All proofs, originals and source material remain the property of VIDEO-CRAFT unless agreed upon in writing otherwise.

15. During events where meals are being provided for our guests, you are obligate it to provide equivalent meals for VIDEO-CRAFT staff working at your event.

16. All work carried out and produced remains the property of VIDEO-CRAFT until paid in full.

17. VIDEO-CRAFT and the client agreed that cooperation and punctuality are essential to accomplish the goals and wishes of all parties. Shooting commences at the scheduled start time and ends at the scheduled end time.

18. VIDEO-CRAFT Is not responsible for compromised coverage due to causes beyond the control of VIDEO-CRAFT including but not limited to obtrusive guests, lateness of the client or guests, weather conditions, schedule complications, incorrect address is provided to VIDEO-CRAFT, rendering of decorations, or restrictions of the locations. VIDEO-CRAFT Is not responsible for backgrounds or lighting conditions which may negatively impact or restrict the photo and film coverage. VIDEO-CRAFT Is not held liable for missed coverage of any part of the event (s).

19. The client is responsible for acquiring all permits and necessary permissions for all locations on which the photographer/videographer from VIDEO-CRAFT will be working.

20. The final post production and editing styles, effects, an overall look of the images are left to the discretion of VIDEO-CRAFT.
