Do you carry backup equipment ?
Yes. I have two or more cameras and lenses, flash equipment on my person all day as well as a back up camera and additional lenses in my bag just in case.
Can we meet prior to booking?
Yes, absolutely. This is encouraged as we can sit down and you can see my work and decide whether it is best for you/ meets your needs. This is usually in-person but if this does not work with your schedule or logistically, an online meeting can be arranged to suit you. A few weeks before your wedding, I will organise another meeting to run through the schedule on the day and hear exactly how you wish your day to flow. From booking to the wedding itself, a lot can change, so it’s perfect chance to catch and find out where and when I will need to be in the morning of your wedding!
I’m always around in between these times, but in busy times you may need to bear with me.
Do you do destination weddings/Events?
We have covered events all over England, Europe, Africa and Asia. Only our Travel and Expenses need to be met.
Do you have insurance?
Yes we have £10,000,000 public liability Insurance, this is required when working in most listed buildings and hotels. Also when using drones to film your event, our drone operators have licences and are required to have carried out a risk assessment before filming and provide a Insurance certificate to the venue in most cases prior to being filmed. In the instance where damage/failure of photography/filming occurs, we are only liable for the cost of the service paid to Video-Craft. Any additional losses can be supported by third party insurance companies which you are encouraged to take out at your own expense. Any reservations, please discuss them with us and we are more than happy to assist.
Do I need a second shooter?
The biggest advantages of two photographers/Videographers are:
1. Multiple angles of ceremonies, speeches, bride and groom preparation shots being captured simultaneously.
2. More pictures of guests
3. More candid images.
Can You provide a female Camera person to cover our event?
Yes, we can , but subject to availability. Female crew do tend get booked for Muslim and Jewish weddings so you need to book early so we are able to reserve them for your event.
Are there travel costs ?
Usually locations are disclosed when booking, and travel is inclusive of price, however additional costs may occur if variations to the original itinerary are made and far greater distance of travel is required.
Can I suggest ideas for photos?
For sure, it gives a better idea on what you are seeking from us and helps us to allocate a Photographer more suited to your requirements.
Where are you based?
We are based in Central London, but cover UK.
Are there any streaming limitations?
Live Streaming is dependent on a cellular service being received, We have sim cards for all the major network providers, EE, 3, Vodafone and O2. However if your location has zero network reception than it would be absolutely impossible for us to Live stream. We do use network bonding where we combine many cellular networks to produce a strong network bandwidth ensuring the use of multiple carriers combined, that transmit a strong stream. In most crucial jobs we would try to do a recce before committing to the job.
